Oh, I don't want any seeds. I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening. I once killed a silk plant by running the vacuum too close and it sucked up the leaves and shredded the whole thing.

I love to cook from scratch, though. Maybe you could share some seeds with Greger...

For a few seeds I'd stop being an obnoxious prick.

I've got a Foley Food Mill, which does the same thing but won't handle the volume. It's great for tomato soup but I like my sauce to be a bit chunkier so a certain amount of tomato concasse needs to be added into the puree.
Probably one of these in my future since I'm pushing for a much larger tomato crop.

I like to skin, core and scoop out the seeds in one bowl and cut the tomato in chuncks into another. When I'm done I run the bowl of skins, cores and seeds through a juicer. I rerun it through several times untill the seeds come out crumbly and then throw the seeds into the compost pile. The juice is combined with the chunky tomatoes to become salsa sauce, past or ketsup. Usually I run the onions, a cayenne pepper and garlic through the juicer too because cutting the onion up stings my eyes and the pepper burns the skin on the back of my hands.

When I dry tomato halves I save the juice and strain the seeds and skins with a mesh colinder. I then boil down the strained juice untill it thickens and spoon it into the tomato halves with some sea salt. I dry in a dehydrator until leathery. They have more tomato flavor than when I don't add the juice.

You might try the disposable blue nitrile or any other disposable plastic food handling gloves to prevent skin irritation.

Damn, GT, you're good, very good. I just dump all those tomato scraps in the chicken pen. The chickens then turn them into eggs and fertilizer.
I always wear the blue nitrile gloves for any extended periods of food prep, especially peppers. 200 gloves for $14.
