Here we go again! Bubble city! Good times! Sky high market! This was described, by the Republicans as a "small handful of Republican bills, passed by congress, and finally signed by Obama". It is, I suspect, timed so that the market will be riding high by the time the election rolls around and EVERYBODY will claim responsibility. After the election, everybody will claim ignorance and deny everything when it all crashes down.

My advise is to get fully invested, right now and, then, just before the election, sell everything and wait for the 'adjustment'. Just a thought <G>

always interesting and at the same time incomprehensible the libertarian weltanschauung

Quote
we no longer have a Republican form of government
the early presidents all having been involved in he founding of our great nation, immediately upon inauguration expanded the role of government, so one has to wonder how these people actually understood the Constitution? ... were they in error? ... it would appear that is what libertarians would have us believe even though apparently they believe it is a modern perversion ... which leads to this question ... if the founders did not understand the proper role of government as dictated by the Constitution then how is it that libertarians 200 years removed from the founding would know what the correct interpretation is?

And every generation thinks it is smarter than those preceding; despite doing the same stupid things (e.g., massive deregulation), the disasters that befell their forefathers could not possibly recur (certainly not in the form of another Great Depression or yet another bubble).

I am not aware of libertarian political philosophy advocating any particular structural form of government, though a republic constrained by a constitution devoted to securing the natural rights of individuals would probably make a nice fit. Perhap a governmental structure that enforced some of the more noble ideas found in the Declaration of Independence would be favored.

As to the rest of your claims about early presidents, founding daddies, and such -- well, hardly germane if you notice that I used the word "concept".
Yours,
Issodhos

why go through the mess when the writers will immediately disregard their own constitution (in your opinion)

Now how does your initial response to JOBS which sounds like a libertarian law to me have anything to do with forms of government???
