Netanyahu warns 'Arabs are voting in droves' in Israeli election http://www.rte.ie/news/2015/0317/687626-israel/yeah, and israel is the only democratic country in the middle east unless of course you happen to be an arab Dubbed 'King Bibi' by Time magazine just three years ago, Mr Netanyahu, 65, has cast the threat to his reign as a foreign-orchestrated bid to install an Israeli leader who might yield to Palestinian statehood or nuclear diplomacy with Iran. and who would know more than bibi about foreign interference well maybe putin i suppose

Conservatives always whine when they lose: 1. Voter fraud 2. Liberals gave them free stuff to vote 3. Liberals gave them a ride to the precincts ...same shiit, different election.

the west bank land is israeli the people who live there...... not so much In fact, Ardy, the West Bank is not Israeli, but land illegally occupied. Imagine, if you will, that Mexico had been illegally occupying California for decades and having "elections" where only "Mexican citizens'" votes counted, even though they only constituted 5% of the "population". That might give some perspective on the "Palestinian question." Netanyahu views Israel like ancient Rome, and is playing like a modern Caesar. Sadly, he may end up more like Nero or Caligula, historically.
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.
Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

@There can be no peace in the middle east as long as Netanyahu holds sway. He is a dangerous, dangerous man. I am still incensed by the incredible disloyalty and disgraceful behavior of our "elected officials" - Boehner, McConnell, and the 47 yahoos who signed the "open letter" to Iran - who tie their wagon to this fearmonger. There is little difference between Netanyahu and Putin, yet one is deemed a "friend" and the other a "fiend." Who is the bigger extremist, Netanyahu or Khamenei?

nwp their are three questions i would address 1. what does israel think are its borders http://www.goisrael.com/Tourism_Eng...over%20Israel/Documents/MapOfIsrael1.pdf2. are the arabs within these borders entitled to vote? or really do they have any real rights? 3. given the above. in what sense is israel a democracy? imo putin has a much better claim to crimea than israel to the west bank one can only imagine if putin started annexing land based upon national security or 2000 year old history it also does not seem surprising to me that other nations including iran would object to the "zionist" state which has grabbed land and cleansed the arabs off that land to accomplish their zionist agenda
