Republicans have hung their tenuous relationship to Mr Trump on the FISA Report soon to be released. They have frequently stated it would be very revealing and many people will be indicted for wrongdoing. So far it has been reported only one person is under criminal investigation. An attorney who made the statement he had supporting documentation for something, found out he didn't, and allegedly created a record to corroborate his statement. This act had no bearing on Russia investigation.

I suspect the report will verify FISA procedures were and are a little loose and should be tightened. This is actually a result which is frequently found in these types of investigations. I further suspect the IG will not find and wrongdoing which would have perverted the Russia investigation.

I predict a hair on fire Republican response.

But, er..., its a Republican investigation led by our Republican AG at the behest of our dear Republican Leader! Given the predilection of our AG (Barr) to do the bidding of our dear leader I am sure they will find terrible things wrong. Well, maybe not, perhaps errors will become disasters, etc.

In any case, I have hope!!!!!!!

Oh, AG Barr is OUR AG just as Trump is OUR President! (sorry, just the way it is)

William Barr plans to OBJECT to the AG report, apparently.

I guess he's already "very upset" about it. ROTFMOL

President Trump says that "he will be very disappointed" if IG report says investigations were justified.

Bill Barr has issued a pre-report opinion which he fully expects Republicans to embrace and disseminate as alternative fact.

GUARDIAN

Quote
"The 123-page Republican report was prepared for Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan and Michael McCaul, the ranking members on the House intelligence, oversight and foreign affairs committees, respectively."

Trump is PREEMPTING news with fabrications and strawman conspiracy theories through his "personal" Attorney General.

This is distinctly Soviet, and Americans are utterly ill-equipped to deal with such phenomena.
We've now arrived in the age of the American "Vremya".

I think I started the thread with the comment ... Republican hair on fire.

I haven't seen enough Republican pretzels .... yet. But considering Sen Kennedy's wavering and skeptical relationship with the facts and the truth, there is an agnostic belief nothing can be or should be known of the true nature of THE TRUMP!!! I fully expect a real circus .... clowns to the left of me ... jokers to the right .... and here I am stuck in the middle, peering into the shadows lantern held high

You know, most people can only handle cognitive dissonance for so long, before they need psychiatric intervention. When Trump goes down, I don't predict revolution. I predict a massive overflow of psychiatric facilities.

Gee another pet conspiracy theory destroyed by the facts.
