I've been here a couple of weeks, but on the scale of this forum, that's not even a blink of an eye, so here goes:
I'm a middle-aged guy with a wife of 27 years and two and a half children (little Billy lost his legs during an IRS audit). I live in Tucson, Arizona. Which is like living on Mercury. It's a million miles from anywhere, hot as hell, and if you inhale, you die.
For the last 25 years, I had been working in water management, which is sort of like being paid to look down a manhole at the crushed remains of my species. Which is okay, but I would prefer an ending with a little more opera
Since June of last year, however, I have been working in the hostile technology field, and I am much happier. Think of it as building Skynet, only the terminators are the size of your thumb and don't have a cool Austrian accent (yet).
My only remaining vices are coffee, a politics addiction, and sheer misanthropy.
What can we do to help you stop screaming?
