Hey everybody.

I typically think of myself as an independant, as I live in Louisiana and have voted for both republicans and democrats in local elections and national elections. But I think most would label me as more of a liberal/democrat than an independant, and I think the republican parties submission to Trump has made it to where I won't be able to vote republican for quite some time which is a shame.

I think it is obvious that independents now make up the largest voting block in the country and have for quite some time now.

For the record I do not have a problem with regular conservatives even when I disagree with them. They sell their ideas just like I sell mine.
It's up to me to do a better job selling, that's all.

Our current issues are costing both sides and independents a tremendous amount on many levels and I look forward to the day when we can finish fixing the busted water main and get back to bailing water out of our shared canoe as we argue about which direction to row the damn thing.

I'm in louisiana. If I hated all conservatives/republicans I'd have to hate most of my friends and basically all of my family. Most of them are good people.

Totally understand that, and I spent a fair amount of time down in Lousiana when we lived in Dallas, TX.
