DVDs, the late edition Countdown, tapes of last season's shows (OMG, if I don't finish them this month, I'm officially a year behind!) and All My Children.

I only have time for one or two shows so it's been Big Love
and Hell's Kitchen during the summer.
OMG I am so hooked on Big Love it's ridiculous (LOL).
The absolute insanity of these people is downright delicious.
My wife and I have this evil chuckle we do when we first hear the delicate strains of Brian Wilson's opus that starts the show.

I too am hooked on Big Love!

I can't believe there are only 2 more before the season end.

Bill has gotten so creepy this time. Actually, a lot of the cast is just really creepy. Nikki, Frank, of course Roman, oh and that Rhonda. EEWWW. But I love watching!

I was happy for Rock winning HK. My pick was Julia. I was a little disappointed with how she acted at the end. I thought she could of been a better loser.

I don't watch much tv but a little bit of:
the local evening news
Daily Show, Stephen Colbert
Bill Moyers
Cspan
a few netflix. Grey Gardens is in the house right now. documentaries, music concerts, foreign films are favorites.

I confess I don't know Big Love... blush

Olyve, honey, I don't have cable and I know about 'Big Love!' I heard an interview about it on Fresh Air last week and requested it from Netflix.

I've also been watching (via the same source) the first season of a show called "Dead Like Me." I don't think it's that great - but Mandy Patinkin? I'll give it a couple more episodes.

I have to admit I love getting tv shows this way - my time remains completely mine, and it's a great deal cheaper than a monthly cable fee plus TiVo.

Oh, Dead Like Me was one of my favorites last year and was sad that it didn't get picked up. Stick with it, it wears on you like a nice pair of shoes

We don't get HBO. (I googled it)

LOL, I was serious about not keeping up with things on tv. You wouldn't believe all the other weekly shows I have never seen one episode of. I get major teasing among my friends about that.
I don't sit still long enough!

Having said that we just got netflix started back. I may check into it. I never thought about ordering tv programs. Of course we're still fairly new at this.
Hell maybe I could even go back and find out what Seinfeld was all about or American Idol. grin
