The answer to this question can be applied to many subjects. Some very specific, like how many delegates are needed to win a party nomination. Others very general, such as how much money you need to live.
Answer the question of "How much is enough?" for the subject of your choice.

A less trivial subject. Power.
(Control, Freedom, Choice, Money)
Answer: I need enough power to choose my path in life. That power does not include wish granting that would let me choose and accomplish without effort, but just to choose and be able to pursue.
An inextricably entangled question is "How much power is too much?" I have to set that somewhere below the absolute monarch level. Somewhere below the President of the United States level as currently administered (similar but less). Somewhere above the Governor of the State of Texas (largely appointments and clemency). Maybe the Governor of the State of California hits the balance (enough power, but not too much).

Depends. Sometimes too much just ain't enough. Things that make me laugh. Days of perfect weather. Stimulating conversation. Sex. Time away from work. Work on a good day. In reality, however, anything that makes it difficult for me to live without is too much.
