Julio Diaz has a daily routine. Every night, the 31-year-old social worker ends his hour-long subway commute to the Bronx one stop early, just so he can eat at his favorite diner.

I'm just a tiny, eensy weensy bit skeptical. Didn't they pull a Pulitzer Prize from a reporter in Boston (or was it D.C.?) who was finding stories like this?
Over the years, I think I've heard this story or variations on it from people 'giving their testimony' more than a dozen times.

Ever read "The Cross and the Switchblade"?

It also has a "Hillary goes to Bosnia" ring to it.

I would like to believe it, but the ending to this story should have been

And they all lived happily ever after

Ma...

Does anybody depart from existence after living happily ever after?
