I grow weary that Senator McCain continues to claim respect for Senator Obama, yet takes no meaningful steps to correct his supporters when they spout this tripe!
Oh well, what should we expect: took him three times aroudn the barn to figure out whether he does or doesn't agree with John Murtha about the attitudes of western Pennsylvanians; how can we expect him to stay on track long enough to correct whomever it is with whom he actually disagrees!

Well there was that town hall meeting where a woman in the audience said Obama was "an Arab" and McCain corrected her by saying "that's not true, he's a hard-working American". That should have convinced her.

Actually related to this thread... The people who commented on Obama hating white people seem to be projecting their own fears of the black man onto him. The guy who think Palin will bring respectability and honor to the White House must have his blinders on so narrowly that he can only walk in a straight line, lest one of the mirriad of examples of her dishonesty and unrespectibility slap him in the face.
Actions always speak louder than words. Maybe after a couple of years of Obama's executive actions, these people will be shown that their fears are baseless and the words of the McCain campaign were all lies.

McCains Honesty Sadly these folks will never be happy with anything Mr. Obama accomplished and would find ways to credit others for anything he did much as in the next four years you will see all the Bush Boondoggles blamed on Democrats.
