From the Iraq side things seem to be winding down for a time. As to what happened in Syria, out of my hands but I'm sure there are those that are worried and those that feel it was effective. What concerns me is a report about another fragging. Aside from that, I'm hoping that we are in a stable enough position for the withdrawal to be safe and effective. I don’t know of many soldiers or sailors who care too much for deployments to the middle east [I’m the exception; I think this part of the world is pretty neat]. So guess what I’m saying is after thousands of deaths US, enemy and civilian, I see something in a ray of hope for all the above that are left living. If only the dead will know peace, a break in conflict would be a nice change.
Cheers
