And his book, which he co-wrote with Roger Warner, A Cambodian Odyssey, was an incredibly moving account of his life and survival under the Khmer Rouge regime. His murder, at the hands of a street gang, robbed us all of a very special Cambodian. Nice Work Steve! Whenever I see numbers like this I almost automatically think "another artist lost to drugs...." In this case it just isn't so, a Rock'n Roll Hall of Famer whose career went far beyond those early years with the yardbirds. From Wiki... Relf was only 33 when he died from an electric shock received while playing his electric guitar, which was not properly grounded (earthed).[1] At the time, Relf was rehearsing new material for the regrouping of the original Renaissance lineup, called Illusion.
Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...

(olyve and Mr. o were napping ) We had a couple of naps. We did. Twas a nice visit Stereoman. Next time we'll walk with you. Bama, I love that photo! you caught it perfect. Welcome home. You'll tell us all about Italy soon? Beautiful opener, Steve. I love the music. George Benson and the Yardbirds for sure. Thanks for that tidbit Greger about Keith Relf. I had no idea. That's a fabulous picture of Tampa. As much as I've been to Florida, I've never been to Tampa. We got home from Asheville around noon just to rush back out again in response to an urgent telephone message to get ready for another funeral at the temple. Not unexpected but sad anyway. It's been a full day. But it was a fantastic weekend. The concert was awesome. A lot of our young friends drove up for it too and the camaraderie was fun. We made a lot of new friends too. A lovely young woman asked for my husband's hand in marriage if he would give her a ride home. But he said no, I'm on foot. Tee hee. huh?
