I happened on this site, and feel it says a lot about what brings people back to certain blogging websites. Seems to me that RR people do a pretty good job, if you consider the criteria set forth. What makes a good blog?

The discourse here is very much elevated re: the rest of the net... BUT RR isn't a blog, and honestly I don't feel like the same criteria should be applied when evaluating a forum.

Yeah, I suppose you're right... But I thought the guidance was pretty good... What criteria would ya suggest for our Forum?

Forums in general, I believe, need 3 different things:
1. A relatively large population of posters
2. A unifying topic or theme
3. Lack, or restraint, of censorship
