NO! I know it was only weeks ago when you told us he was starting college.

Sorry about your brother.

Thanks, Martha, actually it was my husband's brother. Such a brilliant mind with absolutely no common sense. Like I said, a very sad case.

And, yes, can you believe he's graduating already??! That four years just flew by so fast, and from all accounts, it seems like he loved every bit of it. He and his fiancee are both considering graduate school, but for the time being, they're heading back to live closer to home (which makes his mother really happy grin).

It's surprising how many people come through here (Boulder, CO) and still ask for directions to "the Dam". (Still not nearly as many who still want to know how to get to the "Mork and Mindy" house or JonBenet Ramsey house. rolleyes)

Just a quick stop by in what has been a crazy, stressful month of April. Just returned from St. George, UT where husband's (estranged) brother was found dead. Spent a week trying to sort out the mess left behind by a tortured soul who's 66 years on earth certainly didn't seem very happy. He had not spoken to us in 5 years and even his children had no contact with him. A sad tale indeed.

So, after 4 days back trying to catch up at work, I'm off again tomorrow, this time for a much happier occasion. Our son (and only child)graduates from college this weekend, along with his fiancee, so we're off for the big event and celebration. On Tuesday, the four of us depart for Florida to swim, kayak, hike and even hang out with "the Mouse" for a couple of days. cool

Congrats to Son of SuZQ and his fiancee! Have fun in Florida-give my regards to Mickey! [Linked Image from wrestofthestory.evecommunity.com]

Hi everyone, been a while since I've last posted here, but I've not left the fold, just been real busy. Anyways, I just thought I'd throw this little tidbit out there for Sh*ts and Giggles. First of all, I'm not rascist, and I support the President even if he wasn't my choice, my love of country demands respect for the office, if not the man. That's not to say I hate him or anything, just disagree with 'em. I got this text message yesterday:

Message:
It was once said in this country that we would have a black president when pigs fly. Well, after 100 days, we have.....
Swine Flu!!!!

Oh, wait, can't call it that now, they'll kill all the pigs (which wouldn't bother me, as I don't eat pork but....), I mean H1N1 Virus. To be up to date correct there. ;p

Hydy How!

btw, the pic of the Organ Mountains... Love them. I remember as a kid always goin thru Las Cruces to El Paso during the summers when I'd go with my dad all over the state on his business trips to the U-haul Centers he oversaw (the El Paso ones fell under the New Mexico company) or when goin camping to all the parks (state and national) in the entire state with my Mom (my dad hated camping), took us about 6 years to visit them all.

My dog had his first epileptic seizure since I've had him 2.5 weeks now. It's been four months since he had his last one. frown
