Canada has its own National No Call Registry, but I suspect that it doesn't apply for calls originating in the US, or vice versa.

But when the USA is forced to join up with Mexico and Canada in the New World Order, I suppose that problem will be solved. wink devil

You suspect correctly. Just tried it. Discovered that I am invalid. (accent on second syllable)

Phil, don't quit your day-job just yet, to look for a job dubbing foreign accents. wink

Get them on my work line regularly, it seems. Have been getting them for quite some time, so was surprised to hear that only now someone is doing something. It seems I also get another, similar one, maybe about a credit card? I'll have to pay more attention as I'm hitting 7-6 to delete.

I hope that while he is at it, Senator Schumer adds the "market research" companies to the list of those that cannot ignore the No Call list.

I hate those people! They call my work cell all the time.

Apparently they got sued:

and they called the Indiana atty general at home:

Whoops. LOL!

Aren't we consumers who received these calls supposed to be compensated by the companies who have infringed on our "do not call list" phone numbers?

I thought there is/was a provision in the law that says that consumers can seek redress now that we know who was doing the calling.
