For Mac users, don't forget to download the latest version of Safari. If you already did there last week there's already a new one fixing some glitches.
If you have iLife 9 there's a fix for that. The risk of having Java enable which prompted recommendations to disable it has been addressed in a new download.
If you have an iPhone 3G the latest software upgrade is now available. There were some problems with system overload yesterday but it should go quickly today.
Experts are recommending that current iPhone 3G owners not rush to buy the new 3G-S tomorrow. Instead upgrade what you have and see if you really want to spent the money.
For me the most attractive new feature of the 3G-S involves the camera, going from 2 to 3 pixels is good but I usually have a pocket Sony with me so don't use the iPhone camera that much unless I want to email a picture right away. For me if I buy the new iPhone it will be because it is able to shoot standard definition videos. I don't have a video camera so it might be fun to take some videos and put them on YouTube which the 3G-S can do directly.
