Treme website
Are y'all watching this? After getting a pretty good glimpse from a rerun of the pilot last night, I watched a rerun of the second episode today. The first showing of the 3rd is tonight at 10pm.
I don't watch much tv but this one is for me.
I just wanted to give y'all a heads up in case you're interested too.
A movie series about the aftermath of Katrina....made from the inside out so to speak.
Many native musicians are in it.

I've been watching it olyve and loving the music. I'm hoping the story line picks up a little. A few of the characters are very interesting and I want to see more, others not so much.

I have it on a reminder list - I'll probably buy it when it becomes available (probably through iTunes). I very seldom do that but this one sounds like it might be worth it.

Hi Emma,
I've been wondering where you are! Good to see you.
(I don't look at facebook much... blush )

Yes! I love the music too. Quite a few celebrities. Dr John is to be on tonight.
The first two segments I watched in bits and pieces. Then I finally saw a sort of behind the scenes 15 minute thingy on it and now I've watched the whole first segment again and I'm pretty excited about it.
I love "how" they made this series so that alone probably makes me enjoy it more.

Is anybody watching Treme?
We only got HBO recently as an add on to a special rate for our package cable, tv, phone thing.

I am enjoying it (if that is the right word) tremendously.

It's heart breaking, courageous, inspiring and outrageous what the people have had to/are still going through.

Emma, are you still with it?
It just got better and better for me.

Time for a major plot reboot as the BP Oil disaster trends toward once again redefining life in NOLA and the entire Gulf.
