My reading of that article indicates that the $8 billion is not for just that one HSR project, but to be divided among a number of them around the country.
We in Florida expect to receive between 1.5 and 2 billion for transportation, and so we are trying to get our priorities in order. Quite a lot of interesting conversations going on in the Sunshine State.
