Why didn't we do this in the last $800B?
By "we" would you mean "the Republican Administration that wrote the Bill"?
Acutally, I am talking about the one passed last week. Your very own "stimulus".
It was a Democratic Congress who passed it. It is a Democratic bill, simple as that. I don't care who wrote it, Congress debated it and passed it. It has to go both ways here. For years all I have read is how the Republican Congress "forced" Clinton to do this and that. Well, the shoe is on the other foot. Your President, your House, your Senate, spending our money faster than any Republican Congress ever did.
I understand that you all are worshiping at the alter of Obama, but I really must point out he really is living up to his title as the most liberal member of the Senate.
The over/under is getting smaller.
