I would argue that the multinationals already pretty much own the world, and have no need to engage in any risky attempts at global one-government unity. Furthermore, I would argue that the multinationals are interested above all else in protecting their investments in global resources, which flies in the face of all theories about the sudden plummeting of the US dollar coming about because of market forces that they control and manipulate.
