It's difficult to know what people think beyond the words they say or write. You seem fairly certain, Issodhos, that when you read the Constitution your interpretation is correct. That you know what the Founders were saying when they wrote the words, what they were thinking, in fact.
Why should anyone today be interested what a bunch of traitors and terrorists were thinking when they wrote their self-serving Constitution a quarter of a millennium ago?
Perhaps it is more what they
agreed to write that is of interest. Or, perhaps it is more what the several states
agreed to ratify that is of more interest. Perhaps it is of interest because it is the basis for what is supposed to be legal in this republic. Perhaps it is of interest because it is a touchstone for individual rights that does not exist elsewhere. Or,perhaps it is simply an embedded force of habit. Either way, you are not under its "jurisdiction", so why concern yourself, numan?:-)
