I am weary of the whole Israel thing. The U.S. didn't carve out this artificial state in the dessert to avoid having to accommodate an unwanted ethnic group in its midst. Let those nations that did support their nasty little invention. Continued tension in the region over whether a tiny group can assert dominion over a patch of sand that is no more their "homeland" than mine is an expensive and dangerous game. Time to put an end to our sponsorship of it. Let them rise or fall on their own; let them stand or run at their discretion.
