I understand the point you are making... although I am not sure she really understands what she is doing or how it might all play out. I suspect that she may have been explicitly or implicitly manipulated by her parents into that situation.

If Bristol goes off and committs a crime... fine, let her pay the price. But I personally am willing to cut her some slack... despite my revulsion for her parents role in putting her in that situation.
