Rick, I do not believe I have ever suggested the impact on Willow was anything but harmful. I have never said the incident was victimless.
I just don't know what has been added after that was established by, say, page 2. Come now, Phil. Most of the pages after page 2 were dedicated to the haters of Sarah Palin attempting to blame her for what Letterman said (and, I think, to whitewash the Dem rage and hatred directed at her entire family in the days following her nomination to be McCain's VP -- maybe it is a hater thingie).;-) Yours, Issodhos You will note that no such comments came from me, correct? So why are you laying the other comments at my door? A bit collectivist, isn't it?

To be fair, Phil has posted very little on this thread subject-and his statements were about how much comment this thread has generated, nothing more.

You will note that I did not attribute any to you, and further note that I was simply addressing your apparent bewilderment at the continuance of the thread past page 2.:-) Yours, Issodhos

I think it has less to do with feelings about Sarah Palin the person (most of us are more amused by her intellect than antagonistic toward her person) and far more to do with feelings about the cynical and manipulative political ideology that she represents. There is a quote on RT this morning about priests: it applies absolutely to the Liddy/Atwater/Rove/Palin wing of American politics. That is what I hate.
