Nobody is quite sure exactly what the people are struggling for. It doesnt appear at this stage that it is a destruction of their current political system - whatever about the personalities who have currently floated to the surface.
it appears that what they want is a more democratic islamic republic and not say, California
where this will end up nobody knows, least of all the supposed experts who didnt see it coming but who pontificate with such confidence.
if the bloodshed continues and escalates, it like likley wash it all away in a wave of blood. as with every bloody revolution, what may result could possibly be worse.
