Everybody seems to think that what is going on in Iran is some kind of revolution against their government - it is not. What we have been witnessing is a dispute between the religious factions. One represented by the Supreme Leader and the other by an opposing group. In other words this just may be the start of a religious war!
Its also pretty much agreed that no matter which side wins that does not mean that we have pals in the government of Iran. Another thing to remember is that the Iran population majority is under 35 years old! They are, I suspect, simply sick and tired of a bunch of wild eyed religious extremists controlling their every action. Remember too that they actually have competing authorities in virtually every area.
