Politicians don't have private lives. The li'l Mrs signed onto a non-private life when she, most likely, supported her husband's desire for public office.

Ok...I'll soften my stance a bit, political men are pigs. wink Oh who am I trying to kid? Men are sexual pigs.

You are 100% correct, Rick. We ARE pigs. I am open and honest about my life, though some may be offended, but I am no hypocrite. As BB King said in a song, "I did what I did before love came to town". I make no apologies. I would venture to say damn near every woman I dated would say we had fun and that I was a nice guy. OK, there was one, but she had issues - and I paid for her early flight home.

I never wanted to get married again. I was having a hell of great time out there. I met Ms. Mickey and I fought it. Once I made the decision to hang up my guns, I did. I have no regrets about my life before or since Ms. Mickey. Point is, I had the choice, as all men do. I made the decision knowing full well what it meant and I have honored that and I haven't regretted it. Sanford, Vitter, Ensign, pick one, knew full well they'd have opportunities laying at their feet (or feets if you are from Auburn, Alabama). They decided to try to have their cake and eat it too. You can't do it long term. As pigs we either have to stay away or stay at the trough.
