About the meatloaf thing.
Now, I've had meatloaf with a sauce that is made with ketchup...but has a distinctive flavor apart from ketchup. Actually, I guess it could be made with tomato paste, etc.
The only commercial version of it...and I can't even find it anymore is made by "Hunt" foods.
I'm sure that Hunt may not be nationwide, but it's possible.
My grandmother always whipped up the topping for meatloaf and since she passed away...I don't have a clue how she made it. There's nobody alive in my family who might know.
But, I dare say I don't like just plain ketchup on my meatloaf. And...the gravy used, or some people like to make with it, well, it's okay. Not my favorite way to eat meatloaf.
