No, it wasn't. I thought that it was a good idea. I'll guess that he was under capitalized. I believe that he could have made a success of it, because the food was good and reasonably priced. I had stopped in at the various national fish & chips/fish franchises, and, for the most part, didn't think too much of them, even though I didn't have what you would describe as a discriminating palate at the time.
I thought it was thousand island dressing on a Big Mac--but it's not pink, now that I think of it.
MYSTERY SAUCE! Like the mystery meat they served under gobs of goo in school. I believe that they use the same base, and just add pickles. I'm very fond of pickles.
