My evidence that I am, and always have been where I am/was supposed to be? That is where I am/was.

Your evidence to the contrary?

The observable universe is a superposition of 10 to the 122 power lowest energy quanta (h/2<pi> divided by the age of the universe). Curiously, this is also the number of bits of information in the observable universe.

This superposition means that there is uncertainty in everything that has happened back to the Big Bang. Nothing in the past is certain, nor do we have any reason to suppose that history as we know it is unalterable.

This is evidence; it is not proof, but it is food for thought.

Food for non-thought, would seem to be more accurate (that isn't meant as criticism, just the logical result of what you post. I have long ago concluded thinking is useless)

I would have been kinder to my first wife. We divorced amicably, and I made sure she had a career, a house, and a decent car before I left, but I know I did some things during the course of the marriage that hurt her. And they were not done out of some sense of revenge or even selfishness, just my failure to think about how they would make her feel.

I have none. I don't even have a "contrary". It seems we agree.

As some Buddhists say, "The journey is the destination". I believe that is correct. Once we accept the journey as the destination we can find great peace in who we are and we can sit back and enjoy the trip.

Yes.
I am not Buddhist though.
My second half is when I started "painting my masterpiece"... that is me.

Well, then, considering your frequently well-reasoned and cogent postings, you apparently approve of useless activities, or are addicted to them.
