Make sure you watch HBO's Big Love series. I find him mesmerizing in that.

On the TV Series Front:

Martha...

I'm a "Big Love" junkie. That show makes my hair stand up. I can't get enough of "big love".

Ardy...

I a big fan of "Mad Men". It's the most realistic depictions of the era. I'm sure that women were glad to see those days fade in the sunset.

Julia,

I've not seen Wallander, but it sounds like something I'd like.

DVRs...best invention in the past decade...well, almost. So, I record the shows that we like...and don't watch much other TV.

I'm also hooked on Tudors. King Henry III was indeed a wildman.

And then there's Dexter...what can I say but enthralling. I guess it's terrible to love a serial killer, but it's hard not to.

Movies...

As far as movies...I was really taken by surprise by the newest "Star Trek". I think it's the best of all the movies, but also, for me...out shines anything ever made in relationship to the original series. It was fun, exciting, and the time watching it went by at warp speed. But, if you're not a ST fan, dunno. I think it still has a lot of potential to entertain. I will be glad when it comes out on DVD. Its a movie that I'll probably watch several times. And I really don't see it as a "guy movie" either. My superior half...she really, really enjoyed it too.
