I do not wish death on anyone.
Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer. He has been elevated to the exalted political philosopher status by:
1. The illiterate, the semi-literate, the lesser read and the willfully ignorant who are unable or unwilling to process and compare various sources of national and international information regarding policy and governance. In other words, they don't know any better and thus have permitted an entertainer to do their political analysis for them.
In the beginning it was a bit of fun. In time, these suckers, dummies and fools began to take Limbaugh far too seriously. His ratings increased as a result and Limbaugh found himself in a situation that was much too good to ignore. His success is a combination of ignorance (theirs), talent (his), and national syndicated talk radio.
2. People of the opposition who, knowing better, react to Limbaugh as if he actually were an exalted political philosopher and thus lend credence to his bombastic utterances.
