robertson is nuts, plain and simple. when he ran for prez in the 80s i accompanied a journalist friend of mine to a private fundraiser where we heard him speak to his followers. he outright said if he was prez he wouldn't hesitate to blow the commies up. this guy and the late falwell will take every opportunity to perpetuate their myopic view of xtianity and the sad thing is, people do listen - mostly poor, uneducated people who are easily influenced by fear mongering in the name of religion.
