Well, its Friday, President Obama went down, took a look around, talked to his people, promised virtually everything that the folks living down there wanted, and went home to go on vacation. I was a little disappointed, however. I had thought that he would have a public meeting with all the angry folks. Then we could have all watched as he expertly dealt with unhappy locals, and the problems arising from gov fixating on the well and ignoring the oil in the water. That did not happen. I suspect it was an unfortunate choice but then, I think, there have been a LOT of unfortunate choices to do with this thing.
I hope, however, that they can fix the mess. I hold little faith, but I do hope they can.
