Just got a call from my daughter. She doesn't want me taking the baby in the pool, even if there are two other women and one child. aaarrrggghhhh

The church I attend is a congregation composed of the homeless. We feed them a meal and send them home with a sack lunch. The minister, Sister Cherie, said she didn't know what had led her into this work except for the fact that when her son was an infant, she promised God she would do whatever "she" asked if that baby would just stop crying.

Well, everyone know that you have to be careful when you ask God for something because She usually gives it to you, and then sometimes you're sorry you asked Her. laugh

I knew a nun once who became a nun after a stint in the Army. She didn't know what she wanted to do with her life so she prayed for a sign -- and the first person she saw was a nun!

And she's still a nun - that was a good 30 or 35 years ago.

It's another beautiful day here in SoCal! We have new neighbors across the street, and they are having the whole front and backyards re-landscaped. The workers are playing some very lively old time rock and roll, maybe we'll dance at the lunch break... laugh cool

Oh, Graypanther, I realize I didn't answer your question.
Reedy Cove Falls are in Pickins, SC.

Are you really lost in the woods in New Jersey?
I lived in New Jersey for awhile (Trenton) way a long time ago. I remember how surprised I was when we went for a ride out in the country for the first time. Previously I thought the state was pretty much all urban area.

Hot here y'all! eek

well now that explains it, Schlack.

I was a balloon girl at Six Flags Over Georgia one summer.
My first date with my now ex was a blind date.
He thought he was getting a stripper! ROTFMOL
