Lo Han Kuo Beverage is especially effective for coughs and problems of the lungs, it is a natural expectorant which moistens and nourishes the lungs. It's a fantastic remedy for sore throats too. It makes a delicious tea which can be drunk cold or hot, though I've never tried it cold. Tastes a bit like brown sugar, looks like regular black tea when it's brewed.
It's made from the Grosvenor Momordica fruit which grows on vines and is about 2 inches in diameter. It grows only in one region of China.

It's quite inexpensive in the Oriental market, $1.29 for 12 servings and I've just come across another brand that's even cheaper but contains more cane sugar.
