If you look at dog treat prices per pound you can often just buy them a nice steak for the same price. Dogs will do flips for the cheapest toughest piece of beef you can buy, sliced with the grain to make it tougher, then slow roasted to dehydrate it a little and make it tougher yet. I also keep a big box of MilkBones around and dip them in jars of very cheap peanut butter.
Gregor, how is your pet treat enterprise coming along? Those treats Sammy tested were winners. (Note: For him, they need to be about 3x larger)

I don't have a dehydrator. I'm sure I could make some really nice chicken jerky and beef jerky for him if I did.


I think you should setup a PayPay® acct and start taking orders for your different dog treats. I'll be a customer because not only do I know the ingredients are wholesome - but the treats would be made with love too.
