I can't help but still be suspicious.
C'mon, admit it. Joe, you're just a suspicious type o' guy. I'll bet if this was a gold mine spewing gold and other toxic gases and such into the gulf people wouldn't be so upset.
I'll also betcha if the gold was laying on the bottom of the GOM and not floating to the top they'd find a way to get down there and clean up the mess pronto. It's just a matter of perspective. Oil aint pretty.
