That song got a lot of radio play in the 70's. "Midnight at the Oasis" and "Send your camel to bed" are lines that still endure.

The doo wop era was a fertile ground for "one-hit wonders." This one came out at the end of that era, several months before we heard about those four guys from Liverpool. It has always been one of my favorites.

Though, I have a lot of favorite One Hit Wonders (including those already mentioned) THIS ONE always makes everything better for me.
