Leader of the Pack by the Shagri-Las, which became number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 28, 1964? How about
Leader of the Laundromat by the Detergents, which was a parody of
Leader of the Pack? It was funny, but ended the careers of the Detergents, because back then you didn't make fun of Top Ten Hits.
