hi all! I'm back from spending a month in Brazil. When I got home, I had server problems and monitor may be dead, so I'm not quite totally on-line. My trip was "a trip" from dancing all night in Rio at a gay club with some of my new best friends. Daughter here. More.....

Glad you're back, BamaMama. It sounds like you had a great time, and are ready for some Football!

Well so far we have had a very good day.
And they better name this place after my husband after we're gone.
I can't tell you about it right now because I have a Bar Mitzvah to attend to tonight and I'm very emotional right now. I have to pull myself together.

Welcome home, Bama.

See y'all later!
The water stayed on.

Scout, I stepped onto Alabama soil and started the countdown to kick off. The printed tickets are so beautiful but already a problem: Seems someone didn't proofread. Mississipi?

Richie Hayward from Little Feat, RIP.

Here's a little "Dixie Chicken":

And for those of you who are more adventurous, here is "Willin" and "Don't Bogart That Joint":

The guitar work on this is... it's scrumptious. Bow

Love this Schlack. Good morning everyone. It will be Monday before my computer that acts as the home server is fixed. Lots going on as usual. I love reading books with my I-Pad. It has a dictionary loaded so one can highlight a word and find the definition, make a note in the margin and after finishing the book, search for these annotation that are listed in order in the TOCs. It also has a lighted screen so no other light is needed to read, and font size can be changed to accommodate those who are as blind as I. One drawback, two apps can't be opened at one time, so if I used my notes for a book review, I would need another devise as well as the I-Pad.

I went to Balboa beach yesterday. We rode the ferry, had dinner and watched the sun sink into the Pacific Ocean. It was magnificent!
