Is "San Fran" acceptable?

As for "El Lay", I know a few people who refer to it as the "City of the Angels" (though I'm sure some would prefer "City of the Dodgers"). LOL

I still fight the frisco-is-bad battle as a result of my Marin County childhood. And I still detest people who've been there once and claim it's cool.

Oh please, we all know it is "Crisco Frisco".

And no, the queens are not all in WeHo. This county is home to the largest gay/lesbian population in the world, thank you very much, and they/we are housed all over the metro area.

Let's see:

Quote
the 2000 estimated gay and lesbian population in Los Angeles County would be 203,771 persons age 18 and over.

Source

Note: El Lay county is 4061 square miles

Quote
City of San Francisco is the #1 city in the United States with the largest percentage
population of gays.

Source

Note: San Francisco is only 49 square miles - yep 49!

(...and according to the linky dink - El Lay wasn't even in the top 10 [Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com] )
  • San Francisco! [Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com]

Remind us rick, where do you live again?

Not SF is it?

Those statistics show 1.3 million in Calif, 440,000 in Los Angeles, 256,000 in Frisco, so where do you think those other 700,000 live? Fresno? No they are almost all in the LA metro.
