"T"? i had no idea.

LOL I think it's Porky The Pig.

However, I think it's past time to get back to topic or let this thread drift into the obscurity it so deserves.

Thank you.

I am a Sis-tah and have been for many years. I have 3 children who are probably older than all of you. I have 2 grand kids in their 20s. I had to turn over my opinions as I've been asked to leave for many years. I do not mix socially with others easily.

I have a deadly curiosity about how and why other humans pile on their superstitions, which, in my book, is a lazy way to handle the problems we all experience. At my advanced age, I tend to do my problem solving through rehearsal. Panic can destroy whereas planning ahead saves time and lives.

If I annoy you, ignore me.

I agree that planning and rehearsal are useful---provided they do not become obsessive.

There is at least some truth in the remark of Cesare Pavese:

"Whatever people may say, the fastidious formal manner of the upper classes is preferable to the slovenly easygoing behavior of the common middle classes. In moments of crisis, the former know how to act, the latter become uncouth brutes."

If I Ran the Circus, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, why The Sneetches and Other Stories you could read! I Can Lick 30 Tigers Today! You? I Wish That I Had Duck Feet but no, I’m just a Daisy-Head Mayzie, a Fox in Socks. So I’ll just have Some Green Eggs and Ham and remember to That I Saw it on Mulberry Street.
