Stay or go, it doesn't matter. Wow. You Boston (...and Boston metro) types are tough. ...all a bunch of Marky Marks - not a bad thing - especially if you look like him. I have come here, I have left here, I have been banned from here. I have never "bared my soul" upon exiting. The most I ever said was I needed to take a break. We come here, talk politics. What is so hard about that? So Logan decides that there are too many righties here at CHB and runs away? I mean, would you want him watching your back if he can't take a couple of hostile electrons? Maybe I am just one of those neanderthals who has too much testosterone, but I mean does he want us to beg his forgiveness? I grew up in a big family, I was the second youngest. I learned early in life that if I didn't like it, it wasn't getting any better. I took my beatings, won a few, and figured out how to survive in a world where my opinion didn't matter to anybody but me. Hey Logan, don't let the electrons hit you in the ass on the way out of the website!

So Logan decides that there are too many righties here at CHB and runs away? Not a quantitative matter; rather a qualitative one.

The liberals were as thick and numerous and aimless as grasshoppers, moving always in a hurry but never seeming to get to whatever place it was they were going to. Logan, good luck in your quest for truth, justice and the loony left. I eagerly await your occational trip reports.

Your use of the pejorative term loony to describe the left is,I believe, a violation of the terms of posting here. Your lack of respect for others is very apparent to even the most casual observer. I have often wondered if you were born this way or whether your incivility is something we can blame on your upbringing.
Take the nacilbupeR pledge: I solemnly swear that I will help back out all Republicans at the next election.

Your use of the pejorative term loony to describe the left is,I believe, a violation of the terms of posting here. No, not at all. Members of the Right are commonly referred to here as Wing Nuts and a variety of other "pejorative terms". We try to keep discussions collegial, but we are political opponents in an ongoing debate. Churlpat, you have shown very little respect for the beliefs of conservatives, yet you want them to respect yours? Really, it's not gonna happen. So with that in mind let's just try to keep arguments from getting personal and avoid flamewars. Your lack of respect for others is very apparent to even the most casual observer. I have often wondered if you were born this way or whether your incivility is something we can blame on your upbringing. Insulting someone's upbringing is, in fact, a violation of guidelines. I'm not calling for an edit or calling you down for it. Just pointing out that it isn't collegial, which is to say; one colleague to another. We don't agree, but we should be able to discuss our differences without getting angry or getting our feelings hurt.

Loony left? quite approproate use for Ma_reps purposes The demonisation by British newspapers of the political left in British politics had a far longer history. Petley observes that the British press had long-since "perfected a way of representing the ideas and personalities associated with socialism as so deranged and psychotic that they represented a danger to society", thus rendering them fair game for editorial vilification.[3] After his party's defeat in the 1983 General Election, one newspaper had characterised Michael Foot's habit of swinging his walking stick around as he went for his morning walk as being "like an escaped loony".[4] The election of Ken Livingstone to leader of the Greater London Council in 1981 had him regularly described in newspapers as "barmy" or "loony", with the GLC's policies labelled "crazy". These labels were increasingly also applied to local councils within London: The 1983-03-13 Sunday People labelled Islington local council the "Bananas republic"; and the 1983-02-13 Mail on Sunday labelled it "The mad mad mad mad world of Islington". In some ways, the "Loony Left" campaign was a generalisation of the Conservative campaign of demonising Livingstone and the GLC.[3] although quite why Logan would be in search of the caricature 80s british hard left wing politicians is beyond me
