Within our little RR microcosm I think the working definition for collegial is this:

Characterized by mutual consideration and respect among colleagues.

It's difficult for me to have real respect for political philosophies that I completely disagree with. For the most part however, as per the guidelines, I try to show respect for those who hold them. I must understand at the same time that my own political philosophy is not the be all and end all. Just because I believe it doesn't make it so.
