This may be very dangerous... A frightening view into the mind of the author. Much of the media and his lawyer portray him as insane. That may be... but not unintelligent. I would expect that there are many who might embrace the tenets, and others who are already inclined as anti muslim, who may be stimulated to action.



An extraordinarily long read (1500 pages), I have begun, if only to try and understand the story. Nine years in the making.

I tried to read this manifesto, but I can't take this jerk. This guy is a nutjob.

None of us will likely take on 1510 pages of reading, but if you do download the pdf file, scroll down to pages 12 and 13... Just for a flavor of the way Berwick/Breivik draws out the rationale.
There was talk of not releasing the writings, but they would surely surface anyway. I am concerned that easily led people with racial or religious bias might be drawn in. We have not seen the last of this, by any means.
I recall back in early 1990's, reading the writings of groups who used narrowly drawn excerpts from the Koran to justify violent acts. It was akin to a Boy Scout movement in its' portrayal of moral right and duty.

We'll have to watch this over the coming few weeks to see if there are any immediate reactions from extremist groups... or as Berwick seems to prefer, from dedicated individuals.

Sadly, as Faux Gnus, The Tea Party, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin, there many that are weak and foolish sheep ready to drink the Kool-aide.

It will not matter that this crap is read or not, because there are several who already believe this racist, sexist nonsense and publish their own set of ridiculousness.
