That will never happen - he doesn't even buy CA Lotto tickets. (Which reminds me, I have about four weeks of tickets to check, I might be a millionaire and not know it... ) Let's try that again, rick. Question: At what point does a single individual become a financial burden to society? Answer: Well, based on recent posts, when he becomes wealthy. Get it? Get it? The rich are parasites! The rich don't pay any taxes! The rich steal from the poor! Get it?! Welp, if "the rich" aren't paying taxes, but instead are paying for some dude or dudette to get their taxes as low as possible, then they are parasites because society needs the tax base to fix roads, extend care to others less fortunate. Well, rick, it was meant to be a joke, but I guess it ain't going over to well (wow, tough house). So, instead, I will just say it is the well-to-do and the rich and the super rich who pay the lion's share of this country's monetary bills -- by definiton, it ain't the po' folk or the modest income folk (51% of whom do not pay any income tax, and even recieve a check as an "earned income credit"). Some think the better off should pay more taxes (basically as punishment (its a 'progressive' thingie:-))since them paying more would do little to nothing to alleviate the deficit). Yours, Issodhos
