Hello? Hey it worked! (It was giving me an error about being behind a firewall this morning).

Well that was fun! I registered as nc-stereoman before I read Russ' post and Doug's reply about using my email addy as my username. I sent myself a PM. I feel so, so . . . schizoid.  I really like the way this new board looks and works. Nice opening, elise. My dyslexic eyes read the credits on the Henry VIII illustration as "turdohistory". We had a great time at my Beloved's "alumni weekend". Our 10-year-old Asperger boy was captivated by the "chemistry magic" demonstration, asked a very intelligent question and raised his hand to participate in one of the experiments along with a dozen other kids. If you know about Asperger's, you know what a very big deal that was!  So um. Where is everybody?

The AIPAC's Senate
Bought, paid for, and owned. Not to mention, the AIPAC's House: The US House of Representatives passed a resolution calling on the UN Security Council to charge Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with violating international laws pertaining to genocide by calling for the destruction of Israel. Interestingly, there were exactly two Representatives who voted against AIPAC Israel the Resolution. Both are Presidential candidates. Anyone care to guess? Anyone? Bueller? Even more interestingly, there were eleven Rep's voting "present" including (heads up, Philly!  ) TWO REPUBLICANS! Here's the roll call vote, in case you have any trouble figuring out any of the answers.
