I grew up about 100 miles away from the Tahquamenon Falls. They are beautiful. If anyone is looking on a map, they are about 40 miles or so west of Sault Ste. Marie.

Steve, the river flows through many cedar swamps and the brown color is all tannin (sp), not pollution.

Glad to see that you got in! I picked that picture of the falls, because of the color. I thought it was quite interesting. cool
