Few people know the name of Michael Ritz, which is unfortunate because the man was a musical genius. And even fewer people are familiar with Moose Talking, though many more are familiar with the term horse whisperer, the man who could tame the wildest mustang with a few sweet nothings delivered gently to the ear of the recalcitrant animal.
Mike, though, knew a moose talker who could tame even the wildest bull moose during the middle of the rut, or mating season. So he wrote a musical on the subject. I myself can attest that it has some of the most beautiful lyrics and music ever conceived. Alas, though, it was only staged once because Mike insisted on a set where the only exit and entrance was via the chimney of a fireplace set upstage center. No one could deter him from this quirky direction in his musical and he refused to license it for production unless the stage directions were followed to the letter. And it was almost impossible to find a full troupe of singer/dancers who were all thin enough to make the entrances and exits.
The one time it was staged, though, it was billed as "Mike Ritz's Moose Talking is Sung by the Chimney Width Choir."
And I hope yours is too.

And I hope yours is too. (Churlpy, you might want to check your dosage - or maybe you shouldn't drink so much in the morning.) (P.S. My admiration for your talent/skill in the pun has turned to fear.)

In my email: Places I Have and Have Not Been I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone -- you cannot be there alone. .
I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.
I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends and family.
I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not sure how high.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I am frequently in Ane, so I am told.
The same people tell me that I am often in Coherent.
I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more and more often as time goes on.
One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the heart!
And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but life shows me I am not!
I have been in Deep s*** many times; it is not hard to get there.

I was touring France by bus, and I could never get to Complet because the drivers of buses so marked refused to stop for me.

It's currently 4:30 a.m. 12/23/2011 here in NorCal and 26°F. All we need is some rain and we'll have some snow.
